In some ways these early Pre-Historics are regarded as more vintage correct compared to the 2000's Custom Shop Historic-era offerings (inlays, Goldtop finish, neck profile, top dish, mahogany from Central America, etc.).
The neck profile is medium fat and rounded. Most similar to the original early '60 Burst that I've played and a little more rounded than my own original 60 LP Special's neck. It is chunky but soft on the shoulders.
I'm a regular at the MLP forum with many trades and deals.

Before '92 the inlays were rounded on Reissue models but in 1992 the inlays became sharp as you will find on all the available examples from that year.
