Karl Urban's accent is all over the shop. My girlfriend said "is he supposed to be Australian".

I’m wondering if it’s made more complicated for him by New Zealand English sounding quite close to Cockney Geezer?

Simon Pegg is in it as the original character of Wee Hughie was based on him - he was going to be playing the role but it took so long to produce the series that he ended up playing the Dad. This is Hughie in the comic - look familiar?

Just watching this now to fill the void left by Dark (literally in fact!) The Boys is brilliant, much better than the peaky blinders guff missus munckee insists we watch!!

I thought it was great too, although I didn't know much about it and it was slated as one to watch with my youngest.

Oooh, my but was it gratuitous! 

The boy is 14, so he's heard it all before.  But me and Mrs Bump were cringing somewhat.  Especially the scene with the fish-dude and the groupie... Ewwww..!

Mine too. Probably the deep was my fave character, after that awful intro means he recovered well!

was good. Last episode was disappointing. Won’t spoil just in case but if you’re fucking sick of marvel and dc movies, this is a good antidote.

some of the more amusing, yet gruesome disposal scenes I've seen.  A bit there for everyone, save the squeemish. 

Even Karl's accent meanderings don't detract.

Is there a season two on the way and where can it go?

Well, there were 72 original comics, so there's quite a lot of source material.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I wouldn’t look to the comics for any clues about where they’ll go next; the show has just taken the characters and a few basic story points from them and otherwise rapidly diverged.

Also - word of warning - if you thought the show was extreme in terms of gore, language and general gross-out moments it’s nothing compared to the books.

Really enjoyed this show, very dark and as much a commentary on the farce of celeb worship than anything else.
