This is an awesome sounding and playing Stratocaster. It’s clearly been played some and that comes as no surprise once you get it in the hand. Out and out rock ‘n roll in each and every pore. By far the best bridge pickup I’ve ever encountered on a Stratocaster but all the pickups sound sublime and I get why Pete Thorn, SRV, Jimi et al. all favour(ed) a ‘65.
Verified by the experts at Guitar Village (see pic) and all original apart from a five-way switch and a first class refret. I also believe the nut has been changed but I’m not an expert and they don’t mention it. Either way all those things contribute to this being a sensational guitar to play.
It’s a lot of money but they won’t be making any more of these and I’ve felt lucky to own and use it during the last few years. I hope someone else can enjoy it as much going forwards.
