Rickenbacker 360/12c63 with case

Essentially the ‘Hard Day’s Night’ reissue 12 string.

I bought this guitar a couple of years ago and, though it is beautiful, I’m not playing it as much as I’d like to and I need to raise some funds for other things so it’s time to go.

It was for sale on here a year ago but it sold elsewhere and then fell through - after that I decided to have some setup work done to it to make it more to my liking - this included a new bone nut with a slightly wider spacing and a 12 saddle bridge for better intonation (which also meant I could use lighter strings). The original nut and saddle are included if you wanted to go back.

I also had the resistor that’s placed in line with the bridge pickup removed - this resistor is essentially a HPF that cuts out a load of low end and mids from the bridge pickup. With it in place the bridge pickup is very thin sounding and loads quieter than the neck pickup. Now I’ve had it taken out it sounds much more full and balances better. Again the resistor is included if you wanted to put it back in (it’s a simple soldering job).

There are a few marks which I’ve photographed - the worst is the chip on the headstock.

These are pretty rare and expensive in the UK - RRP is over £5K and they seem to sell new at £4K. Given the fact that it’s also a pretty niche instrument and it’s not ‘stock’ (although easy to put back to stock)  I’m putting this up for £1850 - no trades.
