Ooh, I like that too. And I hate all young people's music. Sounds a bit like an Ampeg Scrambler with the octave turned a fair way down; seems to be a lot of the dry signal mixed in with it (another Scrambler thing). Like the way the fuzz disappeared with the stronger attack as well.

Weird that it sounded good through his Oranges, mind: just about none of my fuzzes ever did...

From their Tumblr page. Looks like it's just a Boss DN-2. I'd take a guess that he kicks in the OC-2 for the heavier parts too (maybe along with the Orange footswitch)?

Maybe he's just busy? I've seen a lot of heavily-toured pedalboards which look nothing like the Bored-dentist-on-a-rainy-Sunday-at-home boards you usually see on guitar forums.
