It's the alternatives for me.  At the moment anything similar or better is a lot more expensive but there are some really promising units coming out that are starting to close the gap.

Yea it was good. The Skyward Sword remake was super clunky though. 

Just following the originals then. Link’s Awakening is one of the all time great Gameboy games, and Skyward Sword is easily the worst 3D Zelda 

id really appreciate an HD release of Wind Waker on Switch as it’s the only main console Zelda I’ve never played 

wind waker is a fantastic game my fav zelda game followed by twilight princess and botw.

Sure but there's nothing wrong with trying it first and seeing if you like it, and then selling it on for the going rate if you don't. In any case, if you really don't want it the best way thing is defo to cancel the order and get that sweet fiver back.

Just as well. Car decided it needed three new tyres and new shocks this week so I'm still reeling... I'm sure you'll love it anyway. 

Sad to say I'm still struggling a bit to get into the resi evil 2 remake, but craving a good horror. I think it's because I know the story already. Any new good spooky games about on PlayStation?

Not a hide and seek game, more like survival horror.

Update on Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe. It's fucking weird. But I have enjoyed it. 

Sort of feels like the bits of Portal 2 when you aren't portaging but are just walking around being talked to.

You might like Superliminal then. Not just walking around, some quite clever/weird puzzles.

And mention of Portal has reminded me of Antichamber, which was superbly weird. Mangled geometry first person puzzler. And that's reminded me that I should have another go at Manifold Garden.

Yeah, I've heard of both of those but never played them. Superliminal is on Switch and PS so that might be a good option.

I remember quite enjoying The Witness but the puzzles became annoying hard so I didn't finish it.

I'm looking forward to Portal/Portal2 rereleased on Switch - that really can't come soon enough. Though I'd probably rather a 4K/60fps remaster for PS5 if that's ever an option.

I loved The Witness - I think there were only two that stumped me and needed some hints.

The Talos Principle is brilliant too, and a rare example of a game where the DLC is actually good.

I'm replaying bloodstained but on hard mode. Holy heck it's tricky, more necessary to grind for shards.

Not sure I'll stick it out but will entertain me for a bit at least.
