I tried RDR2 3 times and want to love it but I just find it so boring. I got to as far as the big industrial town whose name I've forgotten, did some stuff there, had a couple of shootouts including moving our gang to a big empty house and that was probably 3 years ago. 

Did I get to the good bit yet? 

In truth I was hoping for a 60fps update for PS5 but Rockstar don't seem to ever update anything other than that which will extract more money from folks still playing GTAV

Funnily enough, I was about to grab my steam deck to make room for it.  My replay has come about through MATN's play through appearing on my YouTube feed last night.

I have been playing Ori & the Blind Forest. Yes I know I'm about 8 years late.

I'm not usually a massive metroidvania guy, but it's rather lovely, though hard as nails in places, and I'm not even playing on hard...

I might have to dust it down…

No point buying again, the remaster has very minor improvements.

Red dead 2 is a great game. It’s beautiful and it really gets going. I bought cyberpunk. I can’t get into that sadly.

But the opening is painfully ploddy.

And arguably, the better and more accessible of the two! The Undead Nightmare DLC was utterly fantastic too, I'm still shocked that they didn't do a followup for RDR2

I can confirm that the next two hours, despite including two shootouts, are also VERY DULL.

Also the next 50 hours after that, just dull. Just feeding a horse, brushing the horse and that's basically it.

Just kidding! It's epic and engrossing.

It told me off for shooting a deer with a bow, because gunfire that close to my camp might attract attention.

8,000 polygons in each horse hoof, but can't tell a bow from a gun. Good job, Rockstar.
