@strumjoughlamps you will love the experience of using a wheel over a controller - and even more so with vr. 

I’ve got all the games you’ve listed, and a few more. But mostly play Assetto Corsa with mods, AMS2 and Le Mans Ultimate.
AC rally has the makings of a fantastic game but it’s still early in development and in my opinion has a way to go yet. 

It’s on sale at the moment though so could be worth picking up.

Wheel and pedals here, NLR Stand Lite 2.0 and brake pedal mod arriving tomorrow.

have set it up on table and tried a few games on Xbox Series X and PC and a couple of initial things..

FFB is a bit too powerful but I can set it lower so not a problem, I will wait til it’s proper bolted down on stand tomorrow.. also I fear the brake mod might not be for me as I instantly like how the pedal feels. But we will see I’ve ordered it now and was only £26..

aside from that it’s really impressing, like a totally different product compared to the creaky plastic Logitech wheels I remember of yore.

well i just bought the first slay the spire game as it was £4.99 on steam and after hearing all the good things people here have said about the game and all the good reviews of it on steam i thought why not.

i am going into the game without a clue as to what it's about other than it's a card game.

have just bought a game called vampire crawlers by the same team that make vampire survivors. have just had a quick go on it and will say already the game is fantastic. if you like vampire survivors i think you're going to like this game (was £8.09 on steam).



ps that slay the spire game is flippin good but i suck at it and don't have a clue what i'm doing lol.

i will warn you now that vampire crawlers is bloody addictive. it's like a cross between a 3d dungeon crawler game from the early 90's, the vampire survivor game and a card game all in one. it's flipping fantastic :-D

Pragmata - anyone playing?

I went through the demo on Switch2 while on a flight yesterday. I absolutely loved it. My only question is whether I want it 100% shiny shiny on PS5 or handheld on Switch2.

I'm replaying Fable 2, having tried an awful lot of new games.

Soul Hackers 2: they should have called this "Cutscene Simulator".

Terratech Legion: just play Deep Rock Galactic Survivor instead, DRGS is the same thing better. Much better.

Aphelion: it's That PlayStation Game, but on XBox! BORING with a capital BORING. 

Vampire Crawlers: OK. But not more than OK.

And something else I've forgotten the name of which was sci-fi Eurojank. Not in a good way.

I must say that I can't properly get into Breath of the Wild. I even gave Kingdom Deliverance 2 more time over last few weeks, but I will persevere. 
Currently suspended as I got DK Bananza and it's really fun!

Mixtape released today and on Gamepass and with a soundtrack like that I’m defo giving it a go.

Yeah this looks great. I’m not sure on price but I want it to do well so they do a full-fledged new one. 

I’m still weighing up Pragmata on Seitch vs PS5. Ill try the demo on PS5 then decide, but it feels quite good for handheld, so I hope I don’t like it too much more. 

Meanwhile I’m on Vampire Survivors because realised I had it on my phone for years and never played it, played it for 29 mins and immediately went and got the switch version. It’s brilliant

I did think there was likely to be a new Star Fox game in production given Fox McCloud is in the new film.

OMFGG Mixtape is amazing.. soundtrack from Jesus & the Mary Chain to The Chi-Lites… 90s college film culture, superb artwork really beautiful.. scenery moves like normal but you move like Wallace and Gromit but it proper works.

It’s on GamePass but I’m gonna buy it on Steam (£15) too as a way to support creators… I’d love to know how much they have had to pay for the soundtrack.. it’s amazing.

Mixtape finished, although I only got 6/26 achievements but luckily I can now choose chapters.
