Can you please move the CLOSED threads.

e.g. In BCD there are three closed threads in the first page alone.  There's little point in having them there at all.  How about renaming Parody to Bin (because that's a complete waste of a section as it is) and moving all the crap in there?

Apart from the “Admin” threads that are pinned to top they will fall naturally off the page surely? Apart from a certain vicarious interest I think they serve a useful purpose “pour decourager les autres”

If a thread's been closed but is still visible, it's because we think there's something of value in there. If it gets deleted entirely, it's because there isn't.

As for Parody...we use that more as a mark of shame :P

As for Parody - creating this was one of the daftest decisions here.  

As an aside, I want it on record that, if I still had modmin permissions, I would have created another section at the Parody level called 'Parroty'.  But I don't, so I can't.

I thought it was funny anyway

You do realise that covers most of what we post on here. I think that only leaves @ICBM 's posts in the clear.

Pretty simple, really. There's good stuff in there, but it's drifted OT to the point where further conversation dilutes the the fact that everything that needed to be said has been.

Nah, "fascist" is pretty light compared to the things we've been called.

However, you should note that there's a good reason nobody's heard of the last guy who called me a "Moomin", involving a shovel and a suspicious amount of bleach.

I agree that Parody section is garbage. It would be better if we called it Humour and stuck funny stuff there.

Some people think what they post if funny. Parody is shorthand for “It isn’t even funny, but we’ve got a non-deletion policy so it had to go somewhere”

"Parody" is the shortened name.

Its full name is "A Parody of Real Humour".

Does that make it a bit clearer?

Censorship is moving threads to areas where the OP's can't access, and then ignoring private messages about it. Not like I care, but that's what it is.
