    Any guitar you buy new.
Largely true. Which is why I don't buy new. The only exceptions were my starter guitars when I was 13/14 ( a cheap Spanish guitar, and my first cheap electric that cost £20 and then  a Shaftesbury Les Paul copy when I was 15).
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

    G&L - I like the headstock btw
    MusicMan - why?!?!?
    Yamaha
PRS - especially the less flashy ones such as McCarty Soapbar, CE 24, Custom 22
    Godin
    Guild

    and...

    Harley Benton.

Hamer used to be in that league but now are getting expensive due to lack of supply.

I made the mistake of buying a high end Tanglewood Heritage model. I paid £1300 for it and didn't really get on with the string spacing so decided to move it on, still practically brand new and totally unmarked I struggled to move it. I got £400 for it in the end, most money I've ever lost on any guitar, would never go near one of those again.
