Had one similar to this when I started playing back in 2006. I foolishly traded it against a CS strat many years ago and regret doing so. I had same but with maple neck/board and found it to look very pale and wished I'd got the rosewood board version at the time.
Quite a while with saved searches on ebay and this one popped up for sale for collection only around 40 miles from home. Won the auction with just 1 bid and picked up yesterday from a nice gent. All genuine with a couple of minor chips (noted in the auction) and is brilliant. I've restrung with 10s rather than 9s it had on, set the trem and gave the rw board a clean and oil.
It's a 2012 deluxe strat in ash. It's the revised version with darker tint to neck and the N3 pickups rather than original SCN. It's more the brownish burst in the first photos as opposed to the reddish colour in the others.
Chuffed with it.

Yep, grain is lovely on these ash strats.
It's a subtle touch which is a nice change from the normal logos.
