Rock/alt/indie bands with double bass players

Apart from the obvious ones like The Living End and Brian Setzer, any other bands who use upright bass players. I think the instrument sounds brilliant, even in non conventional scenarios.
I remember EST (Esbjorn Svensson Jazz Trio) stuck their double bass (was it a double bass?) through pedals from time to time and it sounded really cool.
I saw a video somewhere of a blues band with a double bass player and again, it sounded great.
Any others?

To me possibly the best sounding instrument although not one I associate with much outside of jazz, bluegrass and rockabilly. 

The Paladins. Great mix of blues and rockabilly. 

Willie Dixon was a double bassist who played with and wrote songs for many of the Chicago blues greats. 

Pentangle.  Danny Thompson on DB who also played with various folk and jazz luminaries. 

Al Gare who has played double bass and bass guitar with Imelda May, Jeff Beck, Mike Sanchez, Albert Lee,etc,etc, although it’s still mostly rockabilly based.

Don’t know if the double bass is used, but if you like Reverend Horton Heat you should give Jim Jones Review a go too. The bands share members I believe.
