Stumbled upon this guy via a brilliant Rig Rundown he did for premier guitar. He’s started a sort of lesson/chat/vlog thing. I find it completely absorbing. He is one of the best and most tasteful players I’ve heard. Brilliant to watch videos that focus on the playing and the music rather than just the gear.

Well worth a watch

    Sorry
This is the channel where he’s started his own videos -
(Edited - I think this should link to his channel)

this is the rig rundown where I stumbled upon him (obvs this is gear oriented but his playing shines through all the gear chat).

Happy to just watch him talk. The guitar playing is just a bonus. He's a wonderful bit of feel-good each day.
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

Tom is solely responsible for my Jeff Senn Guitars habit, my trip to Nashville in 2013 to fetch my second one, and so on. That was down to one YT video he did in 2008, picking up his Senn Strat. One minute of fabulous improv.

I was actually searching for Lollar blackface pickups at the time. Funny where these things lead.

Watched the rig rundown by chance the other night and was blown away also. On my list to watch these. What a player and seems a good sort.

Been following him since the Trigger Hippy times (huge Steve Gorman fan here) and been loving his daily videos.
Another guy that's started to post frequently is Duke Levine but he just posts solo guitar songs. They're two of my favorite players.

The other guy I’ve enjoyed during lockdown is Zac Childs and his Ask Zac Youtube uploads....he also hosts Trutone Lounge and does an excellent job.

I didn't watch the rig rundown when it came up on my feed but he was mentioned on TPS and I went back and had a look and have watched a couple of his videos.
Be interesting to listen to some of his recordings as his playing isn't what I might think of as modern Nashville and if he keeps that style or what he does for clients and what he does for fun are different things.

I loved that. Tim Pierce pops in for a chat.  It's the complete opposite of that 'Don't forget to click the bell icon', clickbatey crap that just permeates the YouTube world these days.

Fair play, people have to make a living but it's just so annoying.

I always thought Audley Freed was a better fit for this band (he was there before Bukovac) but this is still fun to watch and the record still sounds great.
There's also a Walsh show with him but audio and video are not that great.
