Another guitar I'm possibly the only one here who loves ...

Skervesen Shoggie 7 Headless guitar. Sure works for me, although I'd have to swap the white pickups out immediately.

I shudder to imagine the kind of new age widdly wankery that could be played on that thing.

Not for me... to own and play personally - but that is actually beautiful, different, and looks very ergonomic.

Electric guitar design is only stuck in the past if you want it to be.

The flowing dot inlays are super cool, but when the finish doesn't cover 100% of the top... That's the only thing I don't really like. At least it's not as bad as on some Ibanez guitars ;) But yeah, with a bit more top coverage & black pup covers, I'd be all over that.

I like that a lot actually, although it has one too many strings for me :)
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I have enough trouble playing 6 strings, I certainly don't need any more.

I like that Skervesen, but I like these Italian guitars even more. Ego guitar from Marconi Lab.

I think the first guitar in this post is gorgeous and I like the white pickups, too.
I also like the expression "widdly wankery" and must try to use it in conversation, some time.=)

My problem with the white pickups is that I think that they dominate that lovely top. A quick photoshop fiddle and this looks better in my opinion. Still, each to his own as they say

Doubt I could play anything on it but I appreciate the design aesthetic

Apart from the god-awful fret markers and the extra string, I like it a lot.
