What is this acoustic sound?

Doing a bit of acoustic guitar recording and interested to know how Ryan Adams got this kind of acoustic tone. Certain mic/ positioning? Can't seem to get close. Any ideas please?

Alot of this kinda stuff has a single u47 or u67 near the 15th fret (10-20cm away) pointed towards the soundhole. 
Ryan likes those Buck Owens Harmony guitars and this sounds raw enough to be it. This has perhaps some upper mid eq to get that stringiness and a fair bit of reverb

I should think that's mostly down to the guitar -- sounds like a boxy old thing. I could definitely believe that's a Harmony.
