can anyone help me learn the bass to this please (fields of the nephilim psychonaut live)

love fotn and would love to learn to play this (am no bassist though,or guitarist for that matter lol).

it's a baddass bass riff (song too tbh).

have looked for a tab but no luck (unfortunately no yt tutorial videos either i could find).

I've worked out what I think the notes are, but find it impossible to play. I wonder whether there's a delay effect that makes it sound like more is going on than is actually being played.

I'll post what I think the notes are tomorrow then maybe others can chip in to help work out how to solve the puzzle.

Through my PC speakers it sounds like just a rhythm on a single note; a bit reminiscent of Roundabout by Yes, but not changing notes...

to add - I just found a youtube video where one of the commenters confirms that the chap himself has said it's a delay.

I think the notes might be as shown in the picture below. This is how I programmed it in Guitar Pro and I'm not sure the tab is how it's actually played. I'm sure I'm missing a trick here and there's an easier way of playing it.

I don't think my tab given earlier is quite correct. Here's a clip of me playing it with a dotted 1/8th note delay and a hint of flange. I think the original sounds a bit more palm muted. Also, I'm thinking I'm playing too many notes.

It's sounds roughly in the right area, but if someone can improve on this or give any pointers it would be great because it's got me stumped now.
