Friends mum had her 80th birthday today and we were asked if there was anyway we could do something for her. She lives in a close with a green space in front of her house so we set up in the green space with an AER compact for a small PA a mains extension was waiting for our arrival and MrsM and I did a half hour set . Socialdistancing of at least 2m was observed at all times except between family members who live together, and most of the other 10 houses in the close came out to listen a good day!

... contemplating a band rehearsal this week in the largest garden with the most accommodating family n neighbours - minimal sound reinforcement , acoustics inc electro acoustic bass and cajon ... can't wait ...

That sounds like us. We're planning a practice of acoustics and cajon based kit in one of our gardens. Be good to see the guys and have a jam. We've a few new tunes to run through too.

There's also talk of a garden gig, streamed online. One of the guys has been doing Friday live streamed gigs on his own, just him in his house on guitar and singing. A paypal donate button has given him a few hundred quid a time, probably more than his share of a normal pub gig.
