I can probably get it from Soundcloud, but there doesn't appear to be a download link in the playlist (with bass added) for those that don't have access to the account. I might be missing something obvious, so apologies if that's the case.

Are we making one song or loads of songs? I thought 'chinese whispers' implied one song made of many parts where maybe each player wasn't 100% informed about the whole thing (obviously needs a little guidance to keep it listenable).

Depending who turns up, you could task players with 'intro guitar 1', 'verse guitar 2', etc. But it's going to have to build up fairly logically so that the parts have a chance of making sense.

So, if we're doing one song, is it possible to chop the two bass tracks into a single edit? That would provide the foundation and hopefully would indicate the verse, chorus, etc.

Well the original plan was one track... but as both @PolarityMan and @bezzer supplied bass lines we now have two different tracks...

I propose 2 guitars per track to start... so we need 4 guitarists to volunteer...

Have a listen to both bass lines and see which one you fancy jumping on.

I would love to be part of this.

But it will be difficult as I'm going to be in hospital for a few more weeks. I could give writing lyrics a try and if you're not too quick in completing it then I might be able to add vocals
