Sad loss to music. I was only aware of him as a solo pianist but his career was far wider than that.

I heard him live loads, met him several times. He was not just amazing player, but a great composer and educator. He lived "inside" his Music and his regular motto before playing live was "take no prisoners". 

Total commitment. Brilliant bloke. RIP.

Don’t know any of his work outside of his contributions to King Crimson but he was amazing on that. RIP
