Having had the thing for a few days now I've fallen in love with the pickups on the Casino. Looking at all the posts about them they get pretty bad press but, for me, they do that early rock 'n roll thing, not to mention a very seventies punky vibe, very well.
Maybe that's not what an ES-330 would sound like but I think they're bloody brilliant. I was going to send it back to Coda as I found the neck too skinny but three things have made me decide to hang on to it
The setup is amazingly low but it doesn't buzz anywhere. The intonation is the best, seriously, of the 6 guitars I have including 3 LPs, a Sheraton and a Strat. Well done Coda. And I've adapted to the neck quite easily although it is an odd D shape.
Oh, and I love the historically inaccurate sound of the pickups which won't be going anywhere.

I’ve only heard 330s on record (Grant Green etc) but I reckon the Epi would be in that rough vicinity. It’s probably having the hollow body that helps.
P90s excel on the threshold of overdrive - think Beatles - or with flat out valve saturation. If the volume balance favours the neck/Rhythm pickup, consider changing at least one of its bar magnets to Alnico 2, 3 or 4.
