I've gone back to playing with a wound third recently so no bendy bendy anymore. It's a revelation. Hadn't realised how much I'd relied upon that bend up to the 5th. Anybody else freed themselves from the BB Bend?

I went up to 11s specifically as I didnt want to become dependant on string bending. Granted it was mainly to help keep the SG in tune as well!

I did try a set of 12s for around a month, but realised that so long as I could bend a tone that was enough for me.
