Help me relieve my GAS feelings - Thinline Tele, Rickenbacker, something else?

Righto, I just got a promotion at work, so feeling a bit gassy for something to mark the achievement. 

 I'd been looking lovingly at Gretsches but can't quite be sure I will click with any of their current model range and I don't really want to buy new anyway. Next comes Rickenbackers - partly due to @GavRichList 's recent additions, but I've always fancied a 360 and/or 620 and potentially a 12-string to boot. Or thinline Teles - there are a couple of AV series 72 Thinlines on Reverb that look lovely. And Danocaster is building again, and I'm certain I would love either a maple-board Strat or thinline Tele from him. Or crack on with the Jag build I was previously talking to MJT about but stalled earlier this year.

Then part of me thinks I should finally buy a Deluxe Reverb because I've loved them forever and never had one.

What to do? Sell everything and buy a sports car? Any thoughts?

Tough choices! I will say that I’m still very happy with both my Rics. They’re their own thing, and that can only be a good thing right?

Saving the extra is very much the plan. But I don’t mind spend a little on something to for posterity. I bought a watch on my last promotion but nothing in that direction catches my eye at the moment

A Deluxe reverb and any guitar is a pretty wonderful thing. However, I have recently discovered that a deluxe reverb and a rickenbacker is pretty much perfection. If you can, do both.

If you want something unique get a ric! They're endlessly cool, genuinely relatively exclusive (probably more so than any fancy prs or Gibson) and will sound different to anything you have.

A thinline tele... While cool... Still sounds like a tele. And looks like one. And plays like one.

But like... Rics don't feel like other guitars. I tried one and the lacquered fretboard is often cited as weird - it's not (you've probably played lacquered maple, it's the same!) but they are a bit narrower and, oddly, the one I played had high string tension. Perhaps the hardware, but it was strung with normals strings but felt very tough to do bends. 

Just... Super unique. I'd love one, they're beautiful and genuinely exclusive I think.

Danocaster sold a Thinline 72 a Tele last night... I didn’t buy it as it was the wrong colour. I’m mostly leaning to a Ricky. Wildwood have a used 620 for a ridiculously low price atm, but Im still feeling the 360 love, I think, just to get as far from what I already have as I can.

both wonderful choices. My 620 feels significantly different to my 330 too, so you can afford yourself variation within your variation!

That's bloody awful!! :P 

I already have a decent Tele so any Thinline would have to be a 72 style. TBH if they did an American Original 72-style with the proper new WRHBs (ideally in black with a white, non-pearl guard) I'd buy one on day 1. How about it @MattFGBI ?
