Takamine cd 132s

There is one going for sale local to me for £445,  I can't find much on them, has anyone had any experience with Takamine classicals, or this model, is it worth the asking price?.

Going to have a look at this afternoon.

This is a pic' of the body,  not sure what the mark is on it.  Maybe some sap, or slight softness in the top?

I've owned a CP132S since the late 80's, great guitar.  I gigged it extensively for about 10 years and just generally played it a lot.  Mine has exactly the same rosette,  but no anomalies on the top.  Are you sure about the "cd" (as opposed to "cp")?  A quick search shows the "cd" with a cutaway.

I would like to know what these sold for originally, in order to make an informed decision thanks for the reply.

I bought mine in Canada about 40 years ago for $800.00CAN which roughly converts to about  460 British Pound.  I don't know if that helps, does the one you're looking at have a built in pick up? (mine does)  .

Seeing the controls on this one I think it's a much newer model, mine just has the basic volume, treble and bass controls.

Well I bought it.   Such a nice guitar to play. The neck profile is interesting, it is a "flat oval" nice for the thumb.

Got a nice full sound, more projection than my other one, I havent plugged it in yet
