I've got a pair of Mackie 624mk2's that are really good and give what seems to me like a very full sound from my kemper.

Ok.... really should have read down to that last post lol.

As long as your happy it's the right choice.
No worries, still breaking mine in but they sound very good so far. Yamaha do great stuff.

Also check out the Kali Audio's there are loads of options on the back for tweaking the speaker to the room and placement

I've got two pairs of Genelecs, the tiny 8010's and the slightly larger 8020's. Both sound excellent and i truly love the form factor. Built like tanks too.

Lucky enough to have Genelecs and sub that I bought way back when I really couldn’t afford them but they came up at a good price used so went for it and was poor for a few months.

No regrets. They are so good it’s never occurred to me to upgrade.

Worth looking out for a 2nd hand pair of PMC DB1, TB1 or TB2. I'm a recent convert, 3 years, and they are simply amazing speakers. New models are hideously expensive but the older ones are still way better than many modern speakers. Active and passive versions can be had.
