NGD x 2 (Charvel content)

Just picked up these 2 beauties. 

So these are standard Charvel San Dimas models that have been relic’d. All relic work done by John Coleman from Newcastle at great expense to the original owner. I have to say they are both superbly done, based off a pair of Luxxtone guitars.

Only had time to play the white one thus far. It plays great and sounds huge through my Revv G20.

These Charvels are so versatile with the switching options.

I think the relic person went a bit sandpaper happy with the black one. White one looks good though.

From what I was told the black one has been played a lot, so some of that wear will be genuine play wear. The white one is a brand new guitar.

Both look like cracking guitars. I know relics are a bit marmite but I love those two.

They do scuff up very well, don’t they.

I won’t (intentionally) be doing it to mine though

its not the most realistic wear on the Charvel's, or the Luxtone's that inspired them really.... but i love this kind of finish. More battle worn than road worn   

I also have a soft spot for black over red done this way
