Hi folks. Thanks for having me on board. Long shot, but does anyone have or know of anyone with an original SG1000 gold tailpiece? I'm restoring a horribly unloved 1979 model that was ruined with aftermarket parts. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes people strip down the many that haven't stood the test of time and sell the parts off, so the prices are cheaper.

I have a Gold plated tailpiece from a late 70s Yamaha SF1000 if that's any use to you? it isn't embossed like the one in @aroof s reply. The gold plating has faded but it's the original part.
