    A quick read, but I found it interesting.

    I always wondered what 335, 345, 355 etc meant...
    I don't think that's true. An ES-335 may originally have been $335, but I'm pretty sure an ES-345 did not cost $10 more, and a 355 didn't cost only another $10. The Varitone units alone must have cost near enough that, let alone the more complex inlays and binding, and gold hardware. The 355 also usually came with a Bigsby.
