Can anyone out there teach bluegrass slide?
Hi all,
I've decided to try my hand at slide, and I'm already a country player so bluegrass seemed the most sensible style to learn.
I've got a resonator and would like to get into it but struggling with the hand positions and other technical elements. I'm blind, so exactly copying youtube vids is a bit of a chore.
Looking for someone who can help with technique and give me some direction, preferably someone who can describe the exact movements/positions, since "watch my hands" isn't gunna do it for me. I've played guitar for 10 years, so am not struggling with theory particularly, just technique.
Bonus points if you are able to teach in person in Birmingham, but if not, entirely willing to do this on the chat platform of your choice.
Payment waiting.
Thanks
Matt
