Pickup advice please.

Hi all, I am building a Strat that I would like to have humbucker bridge & single coil neck, but am looking for advice on a single that performs more like a P90. Recommendations welcome.

Kurtis Novak does something that fits under a Melody Maker cover. 

Since you a building your own guitar, why not simply rout a neck position pickup cavity that can accommodate a P90? If nothing else, the string to the polepiece alignment should be correct.

The body is already HSS & I'd rather not make a mess of it myself, I didnt know @Alegree did a P90 voiced single, so I think that's the one for me.
