Just noticed Strings Direct have a one week deal on D'Addario 3 string sets, get 1 set free. Brings the cost per set down to £4.24 for the XL sets.

Amazon can be a similar price with the deals they do on Prime day, but the last Prime day they didn't have the gauge I like in the deal.  I'd rather give my money to Strings Direct anyway.

Just a head's up that the delivery isn't included in the price.

I thought it was a good enough deal to go for then it added 2 quid for delivery and wasn't anymore for me.

I fitted a set of the XT's last night, very nice. I'd say a touch brighter and definitely slicker than the XL's. I only went for them because I used my Player Club points but I may well be converted.

Delivery is free over £30.  I ordered an electric set and an acoustic set so got free delivery.
