So, some (admittedly, for me) mundane* stuff turned up...

*MIK Epihone LP - turned up as a ‘kit’, with all non-wooden parts (other than the machine heads) in a plastic bag. Still got the wiring to sort out. Gnats gonad action, without much tweaking (no churned dairy products involved).

*Greco Partscaster Strat - (the only Greco bit being the neck).

Greco neck, refinned MIC Squier body and crap pickups, etc. Nevertheless, plays exceptionally well, and the paint job is great. Upgrades TBC in due course.

*Squier Strat Thing - because it was there. Arrived pre-bodged (not by me - for a change - which was nice). All I’ve done so far is foil-out the cavities. Wilkinson short-block term ready to drop in once I’ve re-drilled the mis-positioned holes. Non-pictured Parchment pickguard contains a mix of mis-matched MIK, USA and MIC single-coils.

The joy of cheap but funky stomp boxes. Headrush needed all socket joints reflowing. Guv’nor pots were all seized and PSU socket requires sorting (replacement arrived yesterday). Everything else untested (so far).

*To clarify; not weird-shaped, obscure or utterly crap.

Good haul! I like the 'Greco', and I've been having loads of lockdown fun with an old Zoom 505. If you google 'zoom 505 patches' there's a big spreadsheet of settings :D

Excuse the nosey nature of this but I've often wondered how/why you acquire all this stuff? Do you buy and sell majorly or is it purely passion that you buy to keep?

Rarely sell (generally only when money or space runs out) - I just acquire stuff I like/to keep. :)

I really love the look of that white Strat, or any white Strat really.

I'm hoping you remove those stickers though.

Shh! H7 is keeping the entire West Midlands psychiatric profession gainfully employed. ;)

The old Epiphone headstock shape is so handsome. I can't believe they abolished it to placate the snobs  :p
