I have fancied a Vox wah for a while to do a bad Susan Tedeschi impression. I've already got the short skirt.

    Wispers "four".......

Weeping Demon. EVH crybaby, Wirk Hamster crybaby, Vox 847.

I did swap a standard crybaby for the Vox though.......

And Frankus, "Bad Hendrix" is the playing impersonations, not setting fire to guitars, pissing on amps or playing j@@@

Edit:- Wirk Hamster? I meant Kirk Hamster, must learn how to speel

  • Nice work :D

Today, I received an ex @Viz wah - a Morley Bad Horsie.

    IT'S BLOODY GREAT.  Thanks mate!

So if ever you want to shootout another wah in your (soon to be) truly epic collection, drop me a pm :)

I had a Bad Horsie, but didn't like the sweep so much. Loved the switchless, just not the sounds.

Whadda ya mean "soon to be epic collection", I'd say 4 wahs is epic.

But there's always room for more...........

Okay, it is pretty epic but your last line pretty well summed it up :)

How long till you get a rack mount crybaby?!

I'm loving the bad horsie, it's fairly aggressive but works really nice on cleans, too. The sweep is massive, and there is a fairly sudden area about half way through but that really suits me nicely.

Not sure if I prefer it to the weeping demon, I think I like it just as much, but I'm no longer actively looking for a wah - and it's built like a bloody tank!

Also, it is *perfect* for Tremonti wah sounds - wouldn't surprise me if I was a similar circuit, but Tremonti has a boost. Just nails his sound, despite being a vai sig.

I'd need a rack first, and that's not likely to happen...........

The answer to that is turn the amp up, then you can't hear them shouting.........

    And move away from Viz.....
