House fire 1960s Gibson

Came across this and the only explanation I can come up with to explain its condition is that it was at some point on fire - for quite some time.

The guy is literally selling a charred piece of wood with some new aftermarket parts and strings stuck on for £10k.

not sure that is what I’d describe as Gibson’s ‘golden era’

 There is the saying that it takes a guitar ten years to forget it was a tree... I guess it only takes a house fire for it to forget that it is a guitar

I can’t even begin to imagine who would pay even £100 for that “guitar”
