Any suggestions for songs I can render as my ringtone with decent intros? Oh thanks.

I had normal ringing sound with the imperial March from Star Wars when missus Munckee rang.

  • I used to have "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" as mine because nobody ever got confused and thought it was their phone ringing, and normally raised a smile.

However I made the decision to always have my phone on silent quite a few years ago as I don't like people ringing me...

Also bear in mind, if your phone rings often, it will probably put you off whatever song you choose and if you hear it on the radio you'll feel panicked that your phone is ringing
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

When my mother in law calls it's a sample of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park.

I’ve used various ones with varying degrees of disapproval from friends, family and colleagues. Think that Creep was disliked the most, but that may have been because it was the custom ringtone for a specific colleague....

I've had the opening riff of Pretty Vacant for about 15 years. It is a ringtone

  • I have used both Iron Maiden's Wasted Years and Led Zeppelin's Kashmir. Both worked very well as a ring tone.

My late wife used Pink Floyd's Bike. And now whenever I hear its joyful silliness it reminds me of her joyful silliness.

Not a ringtone but an alert.  We often joked in team meetings (of 100+) that our bosses were living in cuckooland, so a few of us used to message each other whenever a particularly crazy management idea came up.

Yep, that 'Cuckoo' alert will always raise a few sniggers when used at precisely the right moment.
