I'm sorry Jonathan. Financial needs must. And I'll be really sorry to see this one go.

This is the only guitar that I own that I bought new 18 months ago.... It's a fabulous instrument made by our own Jon@feline. Fabulous instrument, here's his own blurb and pics, and yes, it does look edible. Here's what he says/said;

Built in response to hearing someone playing Jazz on a Korina Flying V we had made for them and realising that the timbers were perfect for blues and jazz tones.

Features
Body - Korina body with 5mm thick walnut burl top (flat, not arched)
Weight – 8lbs
Careful chambering also enhances tone
Neck - 3 Piece Korina neck
Ebony fingerboard – 24.75” scale length - Ivoroid binding
Ebony headstock fascia with pearl inlay
Earvana Compensated Tuning Nut
Feline all access neck joint
Total ease of access to top frets
Jim Dunlop 6155 gauge frets
Hardware
Gotoh 510 machineheads
Gotoh UB510 bridge
Jim Dunlop straplocks
Pickups
Bare Knuckle
Mule and Stormy Monday
CTS pots
Switchcraft switch and jack
Hiscox case with all the case candy.

Of course it has the usual Feline Lion feature of the all access neck joint - so it's super easy to get to the highest frets

For obvious reasons I'd prefer cash (or PPG/BT) on collection and I'm looking for £2200 £2000 £1900. I'm happy for you to arrange your own courier of course, but wouldn't you feel happier trying before buying? Me too!

C'mon get it.

The reason I attached Jonathan's pics is because nothing I can take can show the glory of this beast. My pics look a bit shit....although maybe not too bad... below..... ⇩⇩⇩

The reason I attached Jonathan's pics is because nothing I can take can take (I don't have the technology) will show the glory of this instrument. Even though his are studio shots, they really do capture the detail and colour and depth of the walnut top.

    Looks a beaut, merlin.
Bit surprised about the comment about “normal” photos. We happily buy from peach, coda, Andertons, guitars4you etc based on web pictures taken by pros in a studio setting. Why would buying here be any different?

  • When I was at Feline once I mentioned that the actual guitars are even better than the photos, which I think came across as me saying I didn't think much of the photos, whereas in fact what I meant was that even photos as good as these don't quite catch the quality of the instrument in the flesh. FWIW, when, one day, I have the space and money for a Feline it will be just like this one. But not this one, because by the time I've sold enough guitars to make the space and gather together the money this will be long gone - GLWtS!

    Why?

Don’t understand how amateur photos (no offence, OP) would be in any way preferable to studio grade pics that show the colour/top/etc in all its glory.

In response to the guitar itself, all I can say is faaaaackin’ hell - absolutely stunning.

This is giving me yerns for a custom again. I've committed to not going for it till my PhD is done, as a reward to myself...but really like the look of this. What's the neck like on it?

As my good friend says, "Celebrate early and often!"
The neck? Somewhere 'twixt a '58 and a '59 I reckon..... or did you mean "how wonderful is it?"
    Answer; totally.

Gibbo equivalents must be in excess of £5K for something of this quality! I think the neck is bit to big for me, but GLWTS it'll surely make someone a very happy.
