    Just saw this five seconds ago. I'm a third of the way through Agent Running in the Field at the moment - bought it a couple of days ago.. I love John le Carré & have read most of his (considerable) body of work. This is a huge loss to contemporary literature.

    my fave is A Small Town in Germany

    quite enjoyed Agent Running in the Field, but I think Fred Forsyth ghost wrote it for him, it is much more FF style of writing methinks :)
