Just announced but apparently he passed away Oct 31st aged just 49 :-(

Always liked his stuff and his persona behind the mask but didn’t realise he was born over here before moving to Long Island.

I used to DJ in my Uni days, and Madvillain was one probably one of my most played vinyls.

Pretty much the only celebrity death which made me tear up. I got a text from a mate of mine a few minutes to midnight and I was a blubbering mess.
