Which PSU?

I've got a load of pedals on a Pedaltrain 2

Mostly they are normal analogue 9v low current jobs, but I have a Strymon Flint, a TC Helicon Harmony Singer and a mini mixer (which requires 12v) an EHX B9 (which is fairly high current).

At the moment I've got a Diago PSU and a Johnny Shredfreak and a couple of daisy chains.

I was thinking it would be useful to move towards an all in one isolated supply.

The obvious options seem to be the Carl Martin Pro Power, Decebel 11 Hot Stone, or the Cioks Big John Link, or ...?

Which would you choose and why?

What is the difference between the DC10/DC8 and the Big John?
Cioks seem to have two ranges that compete with each other.

    DC 10

    Outlet 1-4:    9V DC / 100mA each
    Outlet 5-6:    9 or 12V DC / 200mA each*
    Outlet 7-8:    9 and 12V DC / 400mA
    Outlet 9-10:  9 and 12 or 15V DC / 400mA

    DC8

    Outlet 1-2: 9V DC / 100mA each
    Outlet 3-4: 9 or 12V DC / 100mA each
    Outlet 5-6: 9 and 12V DC / 300mA
    Outlet 7-8: 9 and 12V DC / 300mA

The DC10 has 2 more plugs and it has a higher mA.

The alternative is Get the Schizophrenic and the BigJohn together with the link, you can power a massive board with that !

Yeah I get the difference between the DC8 and DC10
I mean between them and the Link range which are quite a bit cheaper and aren't in the "professional" range.

I could get by with just the Big John and I don't have anything 18v so I don't need the Schizophrenic.

If you can get by with the Big John then get that, then you can have the option to expand.

I'll give a +1 to Cioks, have their Eventide along with a Pedal Power 2+ under my board. They are both linked and causing no problems whatsoever :-)

It's quite tempting, but I've heard people rave about the Hot Stone.

It certainly looks well specced for the price.

I'm a total GigRig whore. The Generator is amazing. It can get a little pricey if you need a lot of different adaptors (which I do) but it's clean power, can be used anywhere in the world and is as neat as can be cause you cut the cables to length and they are really ickle.

You can send Dan a list of your stuff and he will do a power diagram for you. Love it.

I bought a Hot Stone a few months back.  Very impressed with it so far.  Powering 2 big Strymons among other things.

I had a Carl Martin PP, great it was too. Hard to say much more about it, it powered my pedals, which is exactly what I wanted from it!

I use the Cioks AC10 and it has been a life saver.  It's hard to put it into words, but everything just sounded... better I guess!

And they are protected against all the toilet venues that I have played.

You also get a lotttt more cables than you need, and you can buy quite a few addons (pt mounting kit for one) for a pretty low cost.

    Sales rep out... haha
