lovely thing but I have a Lazy J20 on order already so thankfully ( for my bank accounts sake) i wioll have tyo pass but have a free bump for a top class amp.

And replied. Thanks for all the pm's and comments folks, to clear up a few questions:

The J40 does NOT have the VAC attenuation circuit. According to Jesse, the circuit only works up to 30w so the J40 doesn't have it.

The pictures are of the actual amp for sale, just very good and taken by a pro photographer friend of mine! :-)

And finally, NO trades unfortunately, I'm only selling to find a new Lazy J purchase so cash is king I'm afraid.

And also, as a few have asked, In my opinion, this isn't a bedroom amp. As much as I'd love to say to those who have asked that it is, just so I can get a sale, it isn't.

It's a loud, EXCEPTIONALLY good sounding, pro gigging amp. If you're not gigging and just want something for home, I'd recommend the J20.

I would say even a J20 is loud without the VAC installed.

Yes, I find it tends a bit heavily towards the yellow spectrum. If the reds were a bit richer in the tweed, I'd certainly be interested.
