There's a Brownface Vibroverb owners group on FB- Joe is in it. He's got 3 apparently. Steuart Smith is also an owner and a huge fan of them (used one in Eagles until he retired it for his Bassman RI's to stop taking a vintage amp on road), as is Knopfler. We pretty much have 400 of the 626 made of them on the group

    Blackstar Studio 10 6L6
Great sounding single channel amp with no bells or whistles. Love it.

    Katana 50 Mk 1
Horrible thing. Wish I hadn’t wasted the money. The Cube 40 it replaced was a far nicer piece of kit. At the time everyone was banging on about how fantastic the Katana was and I believed them.

Once we can all get out and playing again the plan is to get something similar to the Studio 10 but with some more Watts.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

    I only have the two.

Vox AC15C1X (with the Celestion Blue)

Lovely, if very idiosyncratic, bit of kit. No sane person would design an amp with these controls today, but once you suss them out, it's great. Needs the MV on at least 50% to come alive, so I keep the pre-amp clean and use a Timmy or Hot Cake to add some natural-sounding grit, then whack a Mudhoney II on top of that for proper dirt.

    Yamaha THR10C

Used (infrequently) for headphone practice, and as an ASIO interface for recording into Reaper. It's also my only bass amp at the moment, but I'd like to remedy that soon.

The old amp collection has changed a bit the past year or so...

    Ceriatone HeyWhat 100
Ceriatone clone of the Hiwatt DR103 with some added extras. The Depth switch on the back makes all the difference, sounds absolutely colossal. I think this may be the finest 100w valve amp I’ve owned thus far.

    Quilter Tone Block 202
A back up for the Ceriatone, and also a lighter option if I can’t be bothered lugging the HW to rehearsal (whenever they’ll happen again). Tried it for the first time in a few months yesterday and it is certainly loud but definitely misses some of that ‘oomph’ the Ceriatone provides.

    Peavey Century 120
Bought last May for cheap off Reverb. Used a few times as a guitar amp and this is FUCKING LOUD. I might try twinning it with the Ceriatone though through a bass cab for a full on attack at some point.

Well, not much has changed in my collection since last time, however :

    Rivera R55 head
Thornton Dexter combo stack (supremely versatile valve amp from a top bloke in Yorkshire)
    633 DriveKing combo (beautiful amp)
    Marshall MS2 micro amp
    Blackstar TVP15
Modulus Amps JTM50 kit (all kinds of thumpingly good sound)

    2x12 cab to match 633 2x10 combo
4x12 cab in blue snakeskin for JTM50

Both cabs from Tom at Hoffnine

    Gallien Krueger Bass 89

    Carr Rambler

The newby is the Carr bought of off a good mate (going acoustic) in 2018. All the others have been owned for decades. My usual gigging amp is either the Carr or the Deluxe R but the Vibrolux and the Bandmaster each got a gig last year before lockdown ( which is rare these days for a variety of reasons, age and weight being the main ones).

Not sure I'd call it a collection......

The red one is a Fender Hotrod DeVille III (acquired from these very shores) which I've modded with a full Fromell kit - sounds incredible and has made the amp so much more useable, the volume control even works properly!

The oak head is a Weber HP Princeton self build.  I don't use it any more since I no longer have a cab for it and it seems to have developed a fault so I'm too scared to turn it on!  It did sound really good the few times I have used it, though.  One day I'll get it fixed.

Then there's the humble little Spark which just gets used as a DAW interface and bluetooth speaker.
