Dai Davies obituary: Former Wales goalkeeper dies aged 72 - BBC Sport

As a lifelong Wrexham fan this is very sad news to me. A great Goalkeeper and true gent and part of Wrexham's best team ever, he will be missed by many.

I remember watching a match from the kop at Wrexham where it was so foggy you couldn't see over the halfway line. Dai mimed the action so that fans 'knew' what was going on!

Signed a programme for me when I went to watch Wrexham once. lovely bloke, waited around for ages in the car park after the game to make sure all the kids got to say hello and chat with him. As an aspiring goalie, I was over the moon.
