(Sorted) WTB PlayStation 5

I know this is ridiculous but just thought I’d ask on the forum. I’ve been trying to get one of these for my son as a Christmas present and as some sort of reward to make up for  interminable home schooling etc. Spent about 2 hours failing to get one on Game this morning as per all previous attempts. If anyone has one at a reasonable price then feel free to message. Not really up for buying off eBay from a random scalper at a huge premium,  but if someone has bought one and had buyers remorse, I’d be happy to discuss making them feel better by buying it from them. Cheers all

A work colleague got one in the last couple of weeks from Very... and promptly sold it to CEX for a tidy little profit. Unfortunately this is what people are up against, but they do come in stock from time to time if you're patient.

Rumours abound there’s going to be a restock this week starting with Amazon tomorrow. Could be rubbish but you never know, hope you manage to get one

@bingefeller What serendipity! We got a used PS4 from a kindly forumite. Unfortunately this week it seems to have bricked - can’t get controllers to connect and can’t get it into safe mode. 

So was actually looking at a ps5 today! 

If you do want to sell it feel free to message me, but unfortunately after some self sabotaging career changes I’m not in a position to pay a big premium at the mo.

Check in 9am every morning on the Argos app. 

Search for PS5, and PlayStation bundles.  

They do drop in from time to time. If a new game is out, such a as the new Grand Tourismo, search for that (+ bundle). 

Pay on the app, and collect later. 

I got my own and my sons PS5 that way.

Joke aside , my son (cough) wants one too and been looking since forever but I am in no hurry.

I do have a spare Bigsby B5!!  You’re giving me ideas!

I work in the game’s industry, so I have all the consoles. Mostly playing on my Switch at the moment, but PS5 Elden Ring has just arrived, so will be busy ignoring all my Bigsby’s next weekend. 

It’s always worth checking this page to see where PS5’s are in stock.  Argos at 9am is always worth a look.

I'm on several discord servers for stock alerts for consoles/GPUs, especially for PS5's - I've had 13 so far and I've given them to every kid that needed one for cost price, just before xmas.

I'll keep my eye out for you and try give you and advance warning on who's dropping next.
