Yes, the one that came to my mind.

I was trying to find the Hendrix - Radio One version of Day Tripper but that’s gawn off YouTube. Often believed to be John Lennon on BVs but apparently not the case.
Can’t find it on streaming either. So, based on my memory it’s a great version.

  • Mrs Whittome, God rest her soul,  was a real Beatles nut when she was my head teacher in Middle School in the 80s.

So much so, that we regularly had to drone out our awful assembly versions of "When I'm 64" and "Yellow Submarine". As I'm sure you can imagine,  300 ish tweenagers who gave not one shit about the Beatles, and a barely competent, partially deaf, 70 year old pianist, produced beautiful renditions every day.

I think this is what put me off the Beatles.

    Blackberry Smoke - Come Together.

When they played this in Bristol a couple of years back I remember having the biggest grin the whole way through the tune.  I was ridiculously pissed though so maybe it wont be as impressive on YouTube

Excellent choice. I also like Cocker's version if I'll cry instead.

  • I've got a few. I love this one from The Blues Beatles:

    Elbow's Golden Slumbers:

Crosby, Stills and Nash, doing Blackbird. When they're on top of their game, they have the best harmonies in rock:

Steve Hillage's version of "It's All Too Much".

I saw him do this live back in the 70's with the classic Gong line up including the wonderful but sadly departed Pierre Moerlen on drums.  Those most definitely were the days.
