brad paisley-style country twang amp?

Hi all,

I am looking for that Brad Paisley-style country tone I grew up absolutely loving. I am aware he has a signature dr. z, and that the Maz 18 gets that sound...but honestly those amps are big, very loud and very heavy things lol. Also very expensive, come to that!
I have a 1x12 with a gold in it, so I've got the speaker part of the job down.
I'm looking for a head which brings me closer to that sound. In an ideal world, it wouldn't cost the earth either.
Vox AC4? One of those Vox Newtube things? Something completely different?
Or should I just get a Wampler thirty Something pedal and plug it into the blackface style amp I've got here.

lol, the irony of that is great. I thought those were 1x10s though not heads?

Vox AC15?, the Z-wreck is an amazing amp and is a hot rodded Vox top boost channel. So I would look at those as an option.

Wampler paisley pedal with compressor. Into any amp. Job done.

Telecaster into a Compressor are a large part of that sound. They both contribute to the attack on the notes.
