At the risk of over simplifying it - there was a deal proposed to allow musicians to tour.  Our government rejected it because an exemption for one group would go against the mandate to end free movement - which it probably would.

Naturally musicians, particularly those who tour, are up in arms demanding a deal as are just about any sector who previously travelled to Europe to work.  The problem is that voters for Brexit are not those who require freedom of movement and there were slightly more of them than those who wanted to stay.

We'll either sacrifice these sacred Brexit cows gradually, under cover of darkness, or else wait a generation and hold another referendum to return.

Well there are less remainers so why not shoot them instead? it will be quicker and cheaper.
