I'm trying to find out how to book an appointment with a commissioner for oaths but am stumped as to where to start!

Is it a case of any solicitor or is it a court jobby?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated please.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

You just need a local firm of solicitors. All solicitors that hold a valid practising certificate may also perform this function providing oath or affidavit to be used in a court in England.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

I'm not a lawyer but I'll try and help,
I'm not a gynaecologist either but I'm always happy to take a look.

Any more talk of gynaecologists and you'll get a clit round the ear and a flap across the face!

Yeah: provided it's not something that requires the arcane skill of a notary, a solicitor (or indeed lowly barrister) will suffice.  Just call a couple of local solicitors firms and I'm sure they'll sort it.

Yep all sorted now thank you. One firm refused to help unless I paid to become a client and the other said yes no problem that'll be just under £10 please! Kushti!
