I was a big fan of x-men age of apocalypse.

The title got me straight back to when I was 16 and had 300+ US Marvel comics. I used to get on the bus to Hartlepool market and spend every penny I had on them. It was the '70's mind you so they literally were pennies!
I would suggest looking for some of the older classic Ditko, Colan and Kirby series from the 60's to whet your appetite but I have the feeling they'll be reassuringly expensive.
