Thanks for adding! So yea, typically people encourage all members to "like" the playlist. But it all gets a bit spammy at that point! Going to give it a whirl now, was impressed with digitalscream's stuff I listened to yesterday.

Yeah it’s fraught with danger !.....I’m just interested to see if it goes anywhere.....considering folks are paying to get on playlists ...not that I’m looking for that....I’m more intrigued,

the band I’m working with at the moment paid for Spotify promotion using someone on Fiverr.....now...without doubt the numbers have jumped ...but are they real people......who knows.....you can see how many people are listing in real time so that must say something?

They are definitely bots I'm afraid. Steer clear of Fiverr for any kind of promotion at all costs.

Try https://www.submithub.com/ - it's a service that connects you to Spotify Playlisters/Bloggers/Influencers and even Labels.

Don't bother with the "Standard" free credits as the curators simply ignore you. The "Hot or Not" feature on there is contributed to by other musos and can be a good source of brutal feedback.

I've had a few placements from there but honestly it's not a good fit for me. Better than those placements is the contacts I've made.

Let me know if you want any more info - I don't get a referral or anything.
