I don't watch much TV at all to be honest - it's mostly shit.  ...but BBC1 AND BBC2 showing THE SAME fucking arselicking toadying shite to a rich old racist who has lived beyond the years any of us are likely to reach on the best medical care public taxes can buy ? OK, I get it that he's blah blah whatever, but WTF were they thinking in the BBC putting the same thing on both main channels ??  Pricks.

Come on Emp it's hardly surprising surprising? The clue is in the name. British Broadcasting Corporation, UK national public sector broadcaster. 12 governors "appointed" by the Queen on the advice of Ministers.

 They've got a team on standby ready for this sort of thing. Did you see how quickly everybody had dark jackets and black ties on. 

If you think this is OTT wait til Liz pops her clogs. It'll be like North Korean TV.

Got nothing against the guy personally. I wouldn't have wanted his job. 




And they shut BBC4 for the night.

I was watching an interview with Jeremy Paxman the other week and he was telling the story about how all BBC presenters/ newscasters have to keep a black outfit at the BBC just in case. He was supposed to do an interview with Robin Cook and someone accidentally knocked coffee over him so Cook ended up wearing Paxman’s black suit to appear on TV but never gave it him back. 

No idea what shutting BBC4 has achieved, not quite sure it is more disrespectful to watch women’s football than any of the content of all the Freeview channels.

I do not believe you're actually that stupid.  I have to believe you're just being wilfully obtuse here.  On the offchance that I'm wrong and that I really do need to reiterate, I'm complaining about the same programme - any programme, being shown on both main BBC channels simultaneously.

The entire station has been replaced with Radio 4.

For what it's worth, BBC radio programmes were also identical yesterday.
