FS: MJW Tweed Bassman head and 4x10 cab

Ceriatone 5f6a kit hand built by Martin at MJW. Martin needs no introduction on here, those who know, know!  5f6a circuit with an adjustable bias knob and bias test points, and a PPIMV master volume, also fitted by Martin.  Classic tweed Bassman sound but with the master volume gives the option of playing this at home.

Great, great amp which I've used for a few years and has never had a problem or let me down. 

Don’t particularly want to sell but not using it at the moment so would love to see it go to someone who will use it, hell of a lot of amp for £550.

The cab is a 4x10 lacquered tweed constructed in pine by AF Custom Cabs.  It is fitted with 4 Eminence 'Blue Frame' speakers from the original run of Fender Bassman reissues.  Internet folks seem to rate these better that the Jensens in the later Bassman LTD.  £240

Obviously big and pretty heavy so postage not really an option at the moment but based in the north east and willing to meet/deliver for a deal.  Willing to discuss offers, give more information or photos as required.

This looks great and I love Mark's work at AF cabs too, they always sound great. If I wasn't in debt and in full-on sell mode I would certainly be on my way to Gateshead to see you.

That's lovely. I've got one of Martin's Electra Twin 30w heads, and it is the business. If I wasn't "darn sarf" I'd be sorely tempted. GLWTS !

The head is tempting but I am a long way away from you. I am using a Selmer Treble & Bass 50 which is apparently based on a blonde Bassman. I now have a nerdy interest in Bassman and Bassman derived circuits
